We have been to the park almost every day since we have been in Parowan, and Colton climbs up the playground all by himself and comes down the biggest slide! I cant believe how big he is!
Today we went to the Bakery for ice cream, and right as we were getting ready to leave, it started pouring rain! So we ate our ice cream inside, and watched the rain. It poured for a good 15 minutes, then let up just enough for us to run to the car. It had rained so much so quickly that the street was kind of flooded, and we had to hop across quite a bit of water to get to the car! the girls freaked out ! i thought it was hillarious, they did not.
Today we met up in St. George with Sarah and her kids. We ate lunch at Cafe Rio, then headed to the Washington Aquatic center. They have a HUGE indoor pool area, with a few different play areas. The kids had so much fun! Right before we left, Claire and Carlie decided they wanted to ride the HUGE slide! Its 2 stories tall! They both rode it twice and LOVED it! It was so nice seeing Sarah again this week.
Aaron took the girls hiking up the the P. I didnt realize it was as big of a hike as it was! they said it was straight up in some parts. but the girls were troopers, and didnt complain the entire way up, OR down. (you can see the P at the very top of the hill!)
The girls have been wanting to make a Lemonade stand ever since we got up to Parowan, so we finally let them. They were SO excited! For the first 10-15 minutes people would just keep driving by, waiving. Carlie was a little frustrated, and said to Aaron, "The sign says LEMONADE, not HELLO"!!! I about died laughing when I heard that! Then they had quite a few customers! I was upstairs with Colton (who wasnt feeling well) and each time they would sell a cup or two, one of them would run upstairs and tell me! I tihnk they ended up making $8!
After a short weekend with friends, they had to head back home. We had a very relaxing weekend. It was nice the the twins had someone to play with, and Colton had friends too! It was nice to be able to just relax and chit chat for a while!
Since Aaron is in Vegas at work, I invited some friends to come to Parowan for the weekend! while the boys were playing in the family room, the girls were coloring in the kitchen! We had a great time with our friends!
The twins have some toys at the Yellow House that they leave up here. So whenever we come, its like they have new toys! They played together so well today! We didnt have any fighting, and the TV wasnt even on! I love when they are able to entertain themselves!
The kids BEG to go to the park everyday in Parowan. It is right across the street from the house, so they can see it all the time! The girls love riding their scooters, and Colton thinks its fun just to hang back and watch them go.
Happy 4th of July!! I love spending the 4th in Parowan. We got up and went to the parade, then Aaron and the girls went to the park across the street to play the carnival games that were there. The twins each won a fish at one of the booths! After we all napped, we headed over to Larry and Cindy's with Grandpa Paul and BBQ'd and watched fireworks! we had a great day!
The kids had been playing hard all day, and we needed to run an errand in Cedar City. The kids fell asleep right when we got on the freeway! I love that they sleep so well, where ever we are!
On the way up to Utah, me and the kids stopped at Sarah's in Logandale. She just recently moved out there, and I miss her like crazy! Even though we didnt hang out that much in Vegas, I can just tell that she's not 10 minutes away anymore. I just love her and her little kids!
We are going to Parowan/camping for 3 weeks, so I have to pack enough clothes for both trips, and I discovered I might have a slight addiction to Target Tshirts! I have 12 in the picture, and 5 more sitting in my closet! I love these shirts!!
today was the last day of swim lessons for the twins! They learned so much in such a short time. They are confident in the water, and are great little swimmers! Thanks Ms. Christina!!
My co worker made me a chocolate texas sheet cake for my birthday. Some of my co workers had some, but when I brought it home it didnt last long! it was SO dang good!
For dinner we took the kids to Macayos! I havent been there in SO long! The kids loved coloring on their menus! Colton was so excited to have chips and salsa! He loves dipping anything in to anything!
Aaron invited my family and a few friends to come over and celebrate my birthday! (My mom, dad, keri, joey, kim, jason, jen, randy and cheryl) The twins wanted to make cupcakes, and aaron picked up the cake! It was a great birthday weekend!
Happy Birthday to me!! I had the best day! My VT companion dropped off freshly made cinnamon rolls first thing in the morning, then I took the twins swimming, then I went out to dinner and dessert with my friend Nicci! Aaron spoiled me, and got me some new work out clothes, and some lip gloss! woohoo!
We are dog sitting my friends dog for a few days while she is out of town. This dog is so sweet, and loves being around the kids! I kept trying to talk Aaron into keeping her, but im sure her family would miss her!
I swore id never post pictures of me flexing... but I had an awesome arm day, and had to document.(and im sure nobody actually looks at this blog) I am really liking the shape that my arms/shoulders are taking! And, my stomach is shrinking! Its NO WHERE near where I want to be, but I love seeing progress.
The twins have been doing swim lessons twice a week, and they are doing so good! Their teacher is SO good with them, and they have picked up a lot of technical skills. And my favorite part is lessons are just 1 street away from us, AND the twins are the only ones in their class.
This morning the twins wanted to make my breakfast for me. I usually have scrambled egg whites and toast or oatmeal. They toasted my favorite toast, and set the table really cute. They also got my eggs out for me. They were really proud of themselves!
We have been spending lots of time at grandpa Paul's pool. Most days I get to leave Colton at home with Aaron, and I get to have some quality time with the twins. I love it!
One of my favorite things to do in town, is watch airplanes land and take off. Since Colton LOVES airplanes, I figured he would enjoy going! The girls had a ice cream, and Colton just squealed like a little girl every time a plane landed!
Date night!!! Aaron and I havent been on a date in SO long. It was nice to get out for a little bit. We went and had dinner at Kabuki, then walked around Town Square for a little bit, then headed back home!
One of my favorite healthy snacks is this shake. You add cottage cheese, protein powder, cocoa, stevia and almond milk in a blender, and blend! The cottage cheese gets blended quite nicely so you cant feel the texture of the chunks. Its like a chocolate shake, but healthy!
Every morning after breakfast I get my ipad, Colton grabs Aarons, and we sit together for a good 30 minutes while I catch up on ... stuff. Colton watches netflix and is content to just be next to me! I love this part of our day.
Carlie drew this picture for us. I have NO idea where the idea came from, but its kinda funny. Somebody shot someone else, then they fell on the ground and died. Then their family came and burried the man, and he became a mummy.
