I looked outside and the sky was PINK! I had to go out and look at the sky, and the sunset was just beautiful! Who says Vegas is ugly?

Carlie loves wearing these boots that grandma Chloe got them for Christmas. Today she paired them with skinny jeans and a T-shirt, and I just thought she looked so stinking cute. I love her style!

Claire woke up in the middle of the night, threw up, woke me up, I cleaned it all up, then put her back to bed. She woke up with an ear ache and a fever, so she got to stay home from school and relax all day. Luckily she was feeling better after the 48 hour bug.

The other day Carlie cut her hair. She wouldnt tell me exactly where on her head she cut, and I couldnt really find it when I looked on her head. So a few days went by and I FOUND where she cut. She cut a small chunk of bangs. OH NO!

Aaron and I had a long day of basketball. We went to the Findlay Prep vs. Bishop Gorman HS basketball game, then went to the UNLV vs UNM game. SO fun!

Carlie was sitting indian style this night at dinner, and I thought it was just cute! She got such a little attitude with me when I took her picture too. She is just too cute though.

We had a few errands to run after school one day, and the girls fell right to sleep! They were exhausted from school!

The kids didnt have school today so the Browns came over to play! The kids get along really well and enjoy playing together. yay for cousins!

Colton went to nursery for the first time today! His leaders said he played really well with the other kids, and didnt even cry!

I am still trying to eat healthy. This morning I made a green smoothie with Spinach, cooked oats, mixed berries and mango. GAG.

After running a few errands I met Sarah and her kids at the park. Colton had a lot of fun running around with Trenton and Katelyn. He is getting to be such a big boy!

We have been working hard with memorizing math facts and sight words with the twins. I'll write a sight word on one side, and a math fact on the other side.

While making dinner I send the kids to the playroom to play. The girls do a pretty good job of keeping Colton entertained, the TV in there also helps!

After church we went for a drive around the Red Rock loop. We saw quite a few Mule! I love going for drives and looking at the scenery!

Colton got a haircut tonight! He cried during the entire cut, but was just fine afterwards. I love seeing him with a fresh haircut!

It's obvious that I gained a few pounds over the Holiday break, so I'm trying to get back on track. This morning I had wheat toast with scrambled eggs. And a Mtn. Dew. Haha. Baby steps.

Colton just isnt feeling well. All he wants to do is lay in my lap. So, I just sat with him on my lap for as long as he wanted. The messes around the house can wait.

Aaron helps out with homework quite often. While I am working with one kid on work sheets, Aaron helps with reading. This is a HUGE help!

I love seeing that my car gets 18.8 mpg. With gas prices so high these days, it's nice to see that my tank of gas goes a little further!

Happy New Year! We originally had planned on going to Parowan for the weekend, but there isn't any snow on the ground, so we decided to stay home and have a party at our house instead. Keri, Joey, Dad, Dave, Linda, Linda's parents and younger brother came over. We ate, we played Just Dance on the Wii, we popped poppers and had a great time!

The girls got new nail polish and decals for Christmas and they have wanted me to do their nails since. Carlie wanted purple and blue nails, with a star decal, and Claire wanted blue and pink nails with flower decals!

Me and the girls popped some popcorn, and watched Kung Fu Panda 2 tonight. The movie was cute, and I just love snuggle time with the twins!

Merry Christmas! We had a late night at Nana and Papa's and we let Colton sleep in, while the twins opened their gifts. It was nice letting them be the center of attention. Although, I wish we could have seen Coltons reaction to everything under the tree. Im not sure if he's old enough yet to get super excited though.  After we opened gifts at home, we went to Grandpa Pauls house, and had brunch with Aarons sisters and Grandma and Grandpa Tine. After that we headed back home, Grandma Chloe and KC came over, we opened gifts with them, then we got dinner ready and my parents, Keri and Joey came over for dinner. Busy day, but it was so fun seeing so much family all in one day.

We spent the evening at Nana and Papas house for Christmas Eve. It is SO much fun watching Colton and Abigail play together. They are 4 months apart, and they are just so cute together!

We took the kids to Dickie's BBQ for lunch. The girls ate great, and Colton behaved so well! I love taking outings like this, as a family!

We FINALLY decorated Gingerbread Houses. We always build our own from graham crackers, and home made frosting, but we saw these kits at Sams Club, and figured it would probably be easier this way. We got 2 kits. Claire and Aaron decorated one, and Carlie and I decorated the other! We put Colton down for a nap before we started, and we had a lot of fun.

We love going around looking at Christmas lights. We heard of this neighbor hood that had TONS of houses that decorated their houses and yards. We drove by and were not disappointed! The kids LOVED all of the houses!

Ok, it kind of seems like our lives revolve around the Rebels. Well, it does. We try to go to as many home games as possible. We watch, or listen to EVERY away game. Me and Aaron grew up watching the Rebels. We know the first and last names of every member on the team, where they are from, what HS they went to, where they transferred from and so on. We follow most of the players on Twitter. We read every stat, and article written about the team! Basketball season is just something that we are really involved in. We love our Rebels!

For the last day of school before Christmas break, the girls were able to wear what ever clothes they wanted for school. I made them these cute Christmas Tree shirts, out of ribbon. I think they turned out super cute!

Aaron and I have been trying to do Christmas shopping while the twins are in school, Colton gets to tag along with. We were at Old Navy, and saying hello to EVERYONE. he even went up to the mannequin and said hello to it! It was hilarious!

The kids didnt have school today so my friend Sarah and I made chocolate covered pretzels for our neighbors and friends. The kids had a lot of fun playing, and we worked on these pretzels for a couple hours! We made 30 bags total. Each had 7-8 pretzels in them, so over 150 pretzels were made! Lots of work, but they were SO yummy!

We took the kids to the Bass Pro Shops to see Santa. The line was crazy long, so Aaron waited, while the kids and I played the free games, and looked at the crazy fish. Luckily Keri came along with us, and helped entertain the kids!

We went to the Ethel M Cactus Garden to look at the Christmas lights! It wasnt too cold out! It was fun walking around and seeing all the fun displays and lights. Afterwards we went on the mini tour of the chocolate factory. At the end of the tour, we got a fresh chocolate!

Every year we get together at Grandma and Grandpa Valentines to help decorate their tree, and celebrate Grandma's Birthday. It has become one of my favorite traditions during the Christmas season. I enjoy seeing all of her ornaments that she has had for YEARS. Each year we give Grandma a new ornament. The last few years we have given her ones that are able to have a picture put inside, and I put a picture of each kid inside. Its fun to see how each kid has grown through out the year!
